CBB Issues

Hi All,

I’ve recently bought the Crumble Build bot but i’m having some issues.

The main issue is that the motors, when programmed don’t do anything.

I can see the LEDs on the board follow the program etc but get no output.

I’ve changed the batteries twice with different brands and know the motors work as I plugged them into the power connections on the board.

I’ve also tried with a different board from a second one.

any help would be appreciated

Would need to see the wiring and the code.

Do you have any LEDs or other components to attach to the Crumble to see if a program you write is reliable.

Trying to break the problem down to.

Are programs executing correctly
Is the wiring done correctly
Is the motor control program correct

My expectation is it’s one of the 3 of these.

Hi, sorry for the delay in getting back to you!

In the photo you attached it looks like the battery box is wired to the Crumble backwards: positive-to-negative and vice versa. This shouldn’t have damaged the Crumble as it has internal protection, but it would explain why your motors & sparkles are not receiving power.

Please let me know if it still doesn’t work after switching the leads round!
