Copy & paste to and from the clipboard please?

It would make merging features between programs much easier if we could copy and paste to the clipboard.
A bit like the duplicate function, but using the clipboard as an intermediate.

You could grab functionality from another crumble program, and paste it into your current program.

The editor seems to be using XML to represent the code. That is what could be in the clipboard.
An alternative would be to export a collection of blocks to a file, with the ability to import later. A library of functionality could then be saved on disk.

I have programmed a conversion from the.crm XML format to pseudo – basic.
More of an intellectual exercise that something of any use.
Example output in attached files.

I will now look at a “merge” program that combines 2 .crm files into one.

How about a merge function in the crumble app?
This would allow you to load TWO (or more) .crm files into the editor AT ONCE.

You could then delete the bits you don’t want.
You could make it merge the variables as well.

I have merged two “.crm” files using a simple text editor, so a program (or cgi script) would have no problem
