Our students were challenged to create a program that followed a line while flashing sparkles on and of continuously. They were unable to figure out how to make that happen but they were able to make the change while the proximity sensor detected a change. Here is the program. We also used the Button switch to start the program. Can someone help us achieve our goal? Attached are several programs we used.

Sounds like you need a main loop that runs all the time (no waiting).
