Some Win machines go off searching Windows Update when you plug a Crumble in.
Before you plug a crumble into a new computer – can you run Regedit and check value of this key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DriverSearching
and see what value it is set to
Then plug in your Crumble and report back whether it wanted to go off to Windows Update to find the driver or whether it just installed the local driver within 30 secs
