ParticipantWe want to use a simple buggy to follow a trail to a fixed goal. (stranded Martian theme). I have a basic buggy using the standard kit – small geared motors with squared fixing for small yellow wheels. Tried using a single wheel running to turn the buggy with no success so assume just need to refine. Anyone have tips – is it just more traction or better wheels? Trying to keep it cheap!

ParticipantAdd rubber to improve traction. I’ve used those wide rubber bands to good effect!
Try one wheel forward and the other backwards at the same time.
Post photo so we can see the issue, maybe. 🙂
