view code in a post?

Elsewhere here there is a tip about sparklies, it shows the code as it appears on the screen in the post.
How do I do that?

It’s been added as an image, but the image has to be on the web somewhere. You can also paste in link to Flickr and it will embed the image automatically.

I’ve just enabled attachments, so you should be able to attach files now.
