    Ran fine all night (12hours) but there is a noticable lag on detecting B & C changes so going to look into that

    Mines made up to a count of 5 since 7pm – 5 in 2hrs 20 mins
    Just tested B and C inputs and they’ve responded fine (within the current limits of only sampling twice per second)

    Version v0.1.6 #12Jul – different installer used

    I’ve switched to using CXFreeze which produces an MSI
    Please let me know how you get on with this one and hopefully the crashing bug will have gone!

    I’ll withdraw the request but amend it to sugesting sticking a LED into starter kit instead 🙂

    I just mean the program start block – its red when you have a green play button (and would match up better with Scratch Green flag)

    If you don’t like the idea of changing it – then adding a green play triangle to it would be alright 🙂

    @Joseph

    just wondering how often you are polling the Crumble?

    Currrently every 0.1 sec – is that too fast?

    @mke

    PS I tend to use variables motor1 and motor2 to control the speed of motors as it saves a broadcast and is more intuitive I feel

    @mike

    1) WITHOUT battery power to the crumble (just USB power) and using a connection from + to the input pads:

    em – AFAIK – that is not a valid operation – with just USB power – the + pins are indeterminate state (neither Hi or LO) so anything that happens after that is in the lap of the gods 🙂

    3. Yep – that’s what you get with Alpha software 🙂

    4. I’ve jsut disconvered that internally Crumble doesn’t handle a speed of 0 – basically it has FORWARD/REVERSE/OFF so I need to set its internal action value to OFF (At which point it ignores the speed value)
