This is a preview of the product – there will be firmware updates which will add functionality to the device, including datalogging, as well as website upgrades coming in the future.
The DataHive is a tool to measure multiple channels of data, in real time. You can measure a basic readout using the LEDs built onto the board, or you can connect it to your computer and use the website https://data.redfern.uk to read more accurate measurements and view live graphs. Using the device, you can measure temperature, light, voltage and resistance as well as detect electrostatic charge.
There are no drivers to download, and no software to install, so getting started is really simple. As featured in the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Sustainable Futures resource, which is a great place to get started https://stemresources.raeng.org.uk/resources/enrich/this-is-engineering-sustainable-futures/
Requires 1 x CR2032 coin cell (included).
