Description
This is a preview version of the Crumble Mini Starter Kit
The Crumble Mini is, as its name suggests, a small version of the Crumble. We’ve shrunk the footprint of the original Crumble down to make an easier-to-solder and breadboardable device whilst keeping almost every single feature of the original board. The Crumble Mini features:
- Micro-USB connection for programming and power*
- Alternative power connection
- 4 x controllable inputs/outputs
- Motor driver connection for two motors
- 2.54mm pitch holes for breadboard connections
- Castellated edges for soldering to carrier boards.

The Crumble is an easy-to-use programmable microcontroller. It can drive 2 motors forwards and backwards at variable speeds. It has 4 IO (Input/Output) pads which allow connections to switches, LDRs, Smart Crumbs and more.
The Crumble software runs on PC, Mac and Linux (including the Raspberry Pi) and Chromium web browsers. Inspired by MIT Scratch, programs are simply built by snapping blocks together on screen. Sending a program to the Crumble is almost instant, allowing rapid experimentation. The Crumble can digitally control full-colour LEDs, called Sparkles (one included).
Note: This kit requires soldering
